記得、小學一年級時離開鄉下搬進台北，原本可以赤腳在田野打滾的，進入都市後變得甚麼都不一樣了；念「懷生國民小學」緊鄰工專新村，屬於外省小學，那時我還不會說國語，只能聽懂一點點，生活與學習上格格不入，因為聽不懂，時常漏寫作業，功課跟不上，常挨罵、挨打，交不到朋友；只能在心中掙扎:不是我不願意，因為我跟大家不一樣，我聽不懂 !我不是壞學生!
